It would be nice...
Jalan Masjid India
Monday, 16Jan 2012
That Monday, was no ordinary Monday. Cloud nine feeling i got inside goes parallel with bunch of clouds up there, adorning the wide blue sky. The weather might be considered perfect by certain people. But as for me, the hot sunny day somehow reminds me so much of those days of my finals, when all the serious looking information overloaded candidates marched together to the CAC hall. Thanks to the sun for shining so generously bright that i thought all the stuff i crammed overnight in my head might just get evaporated by the excessive heat energy supplied. Ahh, the thought of finals just creeps me out.
Let's just get back to the no-ordinary Monday thing.
I took part in a race that day. The Amazing Race, YOQ. As the name says, we did amazing extraordinary things. Things that i know i would have not done that alone out of the blue.
Jalan Masjid India was the third checkpoint after UIA and Padang Merdeka, and we were the last team to arrive. Frankly, i didn't really care because every step and moment was a bliss and too worthily to rush through :P
Luckily we got no elimination for the last team to arrive like the real Amazing Race does.

i cant find my group's pic. main rembat je group ikhwah..credit lah kepada sesiapa yang berkenaan
For this checkpoint,we were asked to do some kind of flash mob, but not the ones with hindustan-like dance or silly pointless act. Maybe it is best defined as a public dakwah, in a cool way.
| Theme : Muhammad | Evaluation : Public reaction towards us | ----> cool kann (:
I heard that other groups ahead us had done it awesomely, but since we were running out of time and apparently pakcik police did not seem to be happy with us- well you know, mahasiswa-demonstration thingy- so we decided to make it simple; just making people signed on our kertas mahjong written 'Do you know prophet Muhammad?', sometimes followed by a question like how much do they really know him.
As we were busy trying to entice people to sign, an Arab lady with burqa passed by. Mkay asked me to ask her. The lady was walking alone, a tourist i assume. I approached her, gave salam, and asked her whether she would like to join us. She smiled, a smile so sincere, i could tell even though it was covered by her burqa. She put her signature written Abdillah, smiled again, and left.
After finishing the task, we stood in a halaqah, having a short ibrah discussion on what we have done, conducted by Kak Maryam. In the middle of the discussion, i felt like someone poked me in my back. I turned, and it's that Arab lady again.
"Is there anyone using this chair?", she pointed to the vacant chair besides us, with a bag on it. I reckoned that it's one of the committees' bag. Thinking that she must be really tired, walking around KL on a hot scorching day, i quickly picked up the bag and pleased her to sit. She smiled. I smiled back, and continued to join the discussion.
When we were about to finish our discussion and get ready to the next checkpoint, the Arab lady approached our halaqah with a box of varieties attempting looking halwa inside it. She offered us the halwa, without leaving behind her dancing smile. I swear everyone got their ear to ear smile on. Oh, this is like a gift from heaven!
googled
"These are sweets from Pakistan. I know which one is good, but i wouldn't tell you".
Because the halawas were from Pakistan, so I assumed that she's a Pakistani , uncertain about that though. But the halwa were certainly certainly good. Everyone took one piece, ate a bite, and exchange with each other. We were overwhelmed by her kindness and thanked her so many times. Her smile showed that she's very happy and sincere to offer.
Other committees started to join the feast.
And the halaqah got bigger.
Joining the standing mode.
The growing halaqah, munching, still in the standing mode..
awaken when the lady said with a smile, "It would be nice if you sit, it's sunnah".

[Aiseh..cemane boleh lupa ni, tadi baru promote pasal Rasulullah..memang sungguhlah an-nas]
One hadith echoed in my head.
Dari ‘Amr bin ‘Auf bin Zaid al-Muzani radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,
Sunnah- the proof of love.
Try your best. Don't take any of them for granted.
Dear Abdillah,
Syukran jaziilan (:

Wordless Wednesday
On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it doesn’t need any description.

the cleaner makes rm70 for every week, being a very considerable and thoughtful daughter, i begged mak to hire me for rm60. as expected, mak was initially reluctant so we went bla bla bla she' the expert and you're not shiuu shiu ne no ne no boleh laa bla bla bla [okeh over pulak] and finally reached an agreement, spotless blink blink house for 50 bucks. hooyeah!!
and, alhamdulillah, i really need this.
at least i got something strong enough to draw me away from this laptop (:
plus, apart from the money, which is just a side mission actually, i found this poster at fb that really freaks me out, in the sense that..yeah, that is so true.
kan.. make some plans or you'll follow their plans.

Pandang-pandang atas ^ ^
Layan langit, awan.. Apa-apa yang di atas.. Sumpah heaven. ~
Lagi-lagi dapat 2-3 orang member yang gila tangkap gambar langit..Mula-mula tu takdelah rasa pelik pon, sebab langit memang cantik, tapi entah lama-lama aku pon sama berjangkit sekali. Jalan-jalan, tengok langit, senyum sorang-sorang, stop jap kciehkk, tangkap gambar. Kalau masa maghrib rasa macam nak duduk sekejap tak nak balik bilik, nak menikmati vanilla twilight, dan yang paling syok sebab komposisi hue masa tu adalah dinamik, memang worth it la untuk dilayankan.
Tapi aku suka tengok langit kat UIA je..
Aku pon agak musykil, adakah langit UIA memang cun..
Ataupon aku memang tiba-tiba jadi lebih sentimental bila ada kat UIA..
Ataupon aku jenis tak pandang atas bila kat luar UIA..
Ataupon pengaruh member-member pencinta langit kat sini bersifat radar..
Apapepon, yang pastinya...
.
.
.
.
.
Bila rasa down.. aku suka pandang atas...
dan bagitahu diri sendiri..
One day, you gonna miss all these, just chillax and cherish this moment, problems are parts of tarbiyah and hoowwyeeahh that means He remembers you! (:
Umm..adakah sebab kat UIA je lah nak rasa down.. kat rumah memang bahagia memanjang, tu yang tak pandang atas..aisehh
Oh dan sebenarnya situasi pandang-atas-bila-down biasanya hanya berlaku kalau masa tu tengah lone ranger mode, kalau ada member mesti dah meroyan royan..aisehh lagi
* * *
